Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Friday Night’s Betfred Super League clash against HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS AT THE DW STADIUM.

The Warriors return to league action against Huddersfield Giants, as the Cherry and Whites prepare to celebrate becoming World Champions.

Ticketing

Join us on Friday night as we celebrate becoming World Champions for the first time since 2017, with tickets reduced to £5. Please note that supporters who had already purchased tickets at full price will automatically receive a refund.

Tickets can be purchased in-person from the DW Stadium Ticket Office, by calling 01942311111, or online HERE.

All season ticket holders and match purchasers have now been sent paper tickets by post or emailed tickets for the game.

However:

  • If you have received a ticket by email with links to add to your device’s wallet, we are aware of an issue when attempting to add to wallet. Please show the email you have received either on your device or printed at the turnstiles and sit in your allocated seats (except South Stand which is unreserved). 
  • If you have received a paper ticket, please present this at the turnstiles and sit in the seat indicated on the ticket (except South Stand which is unreserved).
  • If you have not received any match tickets or if you have been issued the wrong seats for season tickets, please contact the ticket office.

Fan Village

Our Fan Village will be open from 5:30pm on Friday evening to soak up all the pre-match atmosphere inside Robin Park Arena!

Highlights from our Betfred World Club Challenge victory over Penrith Panthers will be shown on our screens from 6pm, whilst there will also be an opportunity to grab a picture with the World Club Challenge trophy. Don’t forget to scan our shirt gallery QR code to see this week’s featured shirt!

Supporters can listen to live music from guitar/vocalist Dave McNamara, and our two on-site bars will be in operation from when doors open. Food will also be available out on the running track. Please note that our Fan Village bars only accept card payments.

Between 6-7pm, children are invited to take part in our Community Foundation led activities, which includes our try scoring inflatable, wheelchair rugby, and our Davanti Tyres passing challenge. Places are limited, and we ask that interested participants meet at the red Community Foundation gazebo on the running track.

At around 7:30pm the First Team, led by Club stalwarts Malcolm Clarke, Jack Roden and John Jackson, will walk through the Fan Village with the Betfred World Club Challenge prior to warming up on the pitch ahead of kick off. Full details of the Fan Village walk through can be found HERE.

DW Stadium

Before the World Champions take to the field, enjoy live music from the fantastic ‘Boomin Band’ on the pitch at 7:10pm. The Lancashire-based group will create the ​​perfect recipe of stadium power pop-fuelled epics, all armed with addictive choruses and hooks a-plenty.

After walking through the Fan Village, the Warriors will enter the DW Stadium through the South West corner before running straight onto the pitch for the pre-game warm up. The players will then use the changing rooms in the stadium as normal for their final preparations ahead of kick off.

Supporters in the East Stand will be able to try out the DW Stadium’s new Ebars – a three-step Order>Pay>Pour system which serves a pint in just 30s!

Whelan’s Sports Bar

Supporters can take advantage of some great offers over at Whelan’s Sports Bar at the DW Stadium, which is situated underneath the West Stand, close to the main reception.

Whelan’s Bar will be open from 12pm, and pre-match supporters can enjoy a pitcher & pizza or a sharing box for £20.

Club Store

There are plenty of ways to shop on Friday evening ahead of kick off! Our Robin Park Arena Club Store will be open from 10am right up until kick off, before reopening post-match.

Over at the Stadium, a pop-up store (open from 5:30pm) will be in operation in the South West corner of the stadium. Please note that the pop-up store will temporarily close between 7:25-7:40pm whilst the players walk through to the stadium.

In addition, the Express Store will be in use in the South East corner from 5:30pm, and it’s the perfect place to pick-up any merchandise ahead of kick off!

Car Parking

Seasonal car park passes are available to use for this fixture. Car parking passes can be purchased upon arrival, however, only card payments will be accepted on all of our car parks (£5.00 per car/£10 per minibus/£20 per coach on Car Park 1, and Cars £5.00 on Car Parks 3 & 4).

Please note that stadium car parks will close at midnight.
