schools delivery

Our school programmes are built to deliver interventions; whether this is to support pupils with their health & wellbeing, improve lives through sports participation, improve knowledge on sustainability or even help with teacher CPD.

OUR PROGRAMMES

The PE & School Sport programme delivers structured physical activity and sport to Primary Schools. The PE and school sport plus programme provides school with one of our specialist PE coaches to deliver and support the development of PE curriculum. Every member of our delivery team will hold or be working towards a minimum of a level 4 qualification in PE and school sport or similar qualifications alongside the required multi-sports, gymnastics, and dance qualifications.

Our Warrior Packages see Community Foundation take over schools for the day to allow the pupils to live a day in the life of our First Team squad.

Each class will be given the chance to take part in a core skills development session and then put those skills into practice in a Festival. Each class will also take part in a wheelchair skills session.

These takeovers will also include our Warriors Together assembly plus a visit from Mighty Max and the club’s trophies.

Pupils can participate in a rugby league development programme through a minimum of six weeks of consecutive coaching, followed by a “next steps event” such as a special assembly or participation festival.

All teachers are offered Continuing Professional Development (CPD), ensuring they can continue to promote rugby league as an activity in your school.

In partnership with Mitsubishi Electric, the Learning Curve focuses on Eco sustainability, with learning based on the theme of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” and educating tomorrow’s generation about renewable energy. The programme is delivered at school and provides a fun, interactive approach to understanding sustainability issues.
