Six Legends announced for Easter Camps

Wigan Warriors Community Foundation are hosting their ‘Legends Week’ Easter Camps over the half term with six legends now confirmed.
The countdown is on until our Community Foundation-led Easter Camp gets underway at Robin Park Arena on Tuesday 2 April (9am-3:30pm), with all Legends now announced ahead of week of fun and engaging sessions.
Our Easter Camp provide the perfect way to stay busy during the School Holidays, whilst offering participants with the opportunity to develop their core skills and understanding of the game in an environment that caters for all ability levels and experiences.
Earlier this month the Club announced that Martin Offiah MBE and current Women’s Head Coach Denis Betts will be in attendance, before Sean O’Loughlin, Thomas Leuluai and Joel Tomkins were confirmed on Tuesday.
Wigan Warriors Women’s Captain, former England International and Warriors Hall of Famer, Victoria Molyneux, will feature along with former Champion Head Coach, Shaun Wane, who completes the list of Legends who will highlight their best moments in a Wigan shirt throughout the week.
Speaking ahead of the Camp, Wigan Warriors Community Foundation Schools Partnership Manager, Scott Rafferty, said: “Being able to provide the opportunity for the players on camp to meet so many Club Legends is fantastic.
“Weβre so lucky to share a facility with so many Club Legends on a day-to-day basis, and each day one of our Club Legends will attend the camp to provide an insight into their careers and how they were so successful.
“For individuals hoping to progress through the player pathway, it will be good to hear from Denis Betts and Joel Tomkins who will talk about the Girls and Boys Pathways that we have available at the Club.”
The camps are open to children aged 6-16 and cost Β£49 for all four days. You can also book individual sessions for Β£15 per day.
