Match Preview: Hull FC (H)

In association with Davanti Tyres, here is everything you need to know ahead of Friday’s Betfred Super League Round 22 clash against Hull FC.

Following a week off, both the Warriors and Hull FC will come head-to-head at the DW Stadium for the first time this year as the run in to the play-offs gets in full swing.

Squad News

Matt Peet has made one change to his 21-man squad as Sam Powell returns from injury to replace Kaide Ellis who misses out through a one-match suspension.

If selected, Liam Byrne will make his 100th appearance for Wigan Warriors.

Ticket prices for the game are as follows:

South Stand:

  • Loyal 18 members – from £11 Junior and  £24 Adults
  • General sale – from £12 Junior and £26 Adults

East and West Stands – in line with 2022 season ticket prices, tickets for the East and West Stands are priced the same:

  • Loyal 18 members – from £21 Junior and £28 Adult
  • General sale – from £22 Junior and £30 Adult

Robin Park Arena Fan Village

Our Fan Village will be open from 5pm to soak up the pre-match atmosphere with free entry for all with a valid match ticket. Our Reserves team are in action against Hull FC at 5:30pm with spectators welcome to cheer the lads on from the stands! The match will also be live on the big screen inside the DW Stadium, which will open at 6:30pm.

Inside the Fan Village supporters will be able to enjoy live music, and as usual our club store and pop-up store will both be open to pick up any merchandise ahead of the game, as well as two on-site bars serving refreshments.

Three more exclusive player cards will be available to collect on Friday from the Fan Village. Make sure to look out for members of Warriors staff and stewards, who will have the cards ready to hand out. Cards will also be available to pick up from our Robin Park Arena store, the pop-up store and on all the bars.

Once you have experienced the Fan Village, head over to the stadium where you will be able to listen to North West indie rock band The Lanks, who will be performing at 7:10pm from the North Stand. More information on The Lanks can be found HERE. For more matchday information click HERE.

Whelan’s Bar

Fans can also take advantage of some great offers over at Whelan’s Bar at the DW Stadium, which is situated underneath the West Stand, close to the main reception.

Offers include an ‘Early Bird Special’ of 20% off ALL Food and Drink between 5pm-6pm. After the game is also Happy Hour, where you can get 3 for 2 on draught beer and cider.

Car Parking

Card payments are now accepted on all of our car parks, the charges remain the same (£5.00 per car/£10 per minibus/£20 per coach on Car Park 1, and Cars £5.00 on Car Parks 3 & 4). 

Please note that all car parks will close at midnight.

Wigan Warriors will play in their Cherry and White home kit on Friday night.
