Speaking ahead of Sunday’s game, the returning Lauréane Biville said: “It was natural for me to return to Wigan, ensure I can keep playing a good level of Rugby League and keep developing my game. I am looking forward to being back part of this team and finishing the 2023 season with them.”

On the chance to face St Helens for the first time: “I will train hard this week. I only have one week to impress and make sure I can be selected in the squad. It’s a huge game for Wigan and I know it will be a test but I’m really excited for the game.”
