Player of the Month: July

July saw the Warriors win three out of five games in Betfred Super League, starting the month with a 46-22 win away from home at Wakefield. Despite a great effort, the Warriors then narrowly lost to St Helens in Newcastle at Magic Weekend.

Matt Peet’s men bounced back the week after as they returned home to win 60-0 against Hull FC, as Bevan French registered a Super League record-breaking seven tries in a single game. Wigan did suffer defeat away to Leeds in the following week but bouncing back once again they took a solid 46-4 win over Hull KR at the DW Stadium in Round 21.
