Oldham-born Mayberry signed his first contract with the Warriors Scholarship programme in 2023 after playing his amateur rugby with Oldham St Annes.
The hooker, who won the Man of Steel Award at his junior club four years running, also received the U13’s Magic Moment Award at The Rhinos Challenge in 2022 for an impressive solo try.
