Nsemba was introduced as an interchange in the first half at Leigh Sports Village before he rounded off an impressive Sky Man of the Match display with his first Super League try after the restart.

Speaking to Sky Sports post-match, Nsmeba said: “It was amazing getting out there again with the boys and getting a good amount of minutes.”

On scoring his first Super League try, Nsemba said: “It was a blessing scoring my first Super League try. My mum is really proud and I’m pretty happy as well.”

On the celebrations with teammates, Nsemba added: “It’s not often that I score so they were pretty happy that I got over – I was pretty happy as well.”

Reflecting on the victory, Nsemba said: “It was a tough game against a Leigh side who put up a good fight which meant we had to stay consistent. The message at half time was to stick to our game plan and structure and not to drop off. This week was all about starting fast and I’m confident we did just that.”
