Tom Forber came off the bench to help Widnes Vikings record a third consecutive victory after they claimed the two points from an end-to-end contest against Whitehaven at the DCBL Stadium on Saturday.
The hooker, who was introduced to the action in the second half, created an important try for the Vikings after his grubber kick caused an error which presented Olly Davies with four points.
