The Warriors will be looking to make it four consecutive Super League victories, following on from yet another impressive performance away at Leigh last week.

Squad News

Matt Peet has made three changes to his 21-man squad, with Jai Field and Cade Cust missing out through injury, and Willie Isa serving a one-game suspension. They are replaced by Iain Thornley, Tom Forber and Junior Nsemba who come into the side.

Opposition

St Helens have also announced their 21-man squad ahead of the Good Friday Derby at the DW Stadium.

Matt Peet spoke to the press on Monday ahead of Round 8 and says ‘lots to be excited about’ ahead of the clash with Saints.

He said: “Both sets of fans are excited, there’s two quality teams. I definitely feel like last year it was a great experience and I felt like I became a better coach for it. I do feel like I’ve got a bit of experience there now. It’s the perfect week for anyone who wants an insight into our game. There’s a lot to get excited about, you’re crazy if you’re not coming.”

Fans are advised that there will be NO ON THE DAY SALES for this Friday’s game, with the cut off point for all ticket sales being Thursday 6th April at 5pm.

Minutes Silence

There will be a one minute silence prior to kick-off (3pm) in remembrance of former Wigan player David Willicombe. Willicombe made his Wigan debut on 2 February 1974 and would go on to make 113 appearances for the club.

Robin Park Arena Fan Village

Robin Park Fan Arena Village is open from 12pm! Legendary vocalist Angie Brown will appear before this Friday’s Good Friday Clash with St Helens at the DW Stadium, both at Robin Park and inside the ground prior to kick-off.

Her voice has been compared to the all-time greats, such as Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin and most well known as the featured vocalist on Bizarre Inc’s two hits “I’m Gonna Get You” (1992) and “Playin with Knives (1991). She was also the featured vocalist on Motiv8’s top twenty UK track from 1994, “Rockin’ for Myself”.

Soak up the pre-match atmosphere, with free entry for all with a valid match ticket. Our Club store will open at 10am and will re-open after the game, with a pop-up shop at the fan village before kick off, as well as two on-site bars. On Friday you can also pick up Try/No Try Cards from the Fan Village as well as all new 2023 Player Cards!

Parking

Fans are advised to arrive early in order to secure parking in the surrounding areas due to exceptional demand. Card payments are now accepted on all of our car parks, the charges remain the same (£5.00 per car/£10 per minibus/£20 per coach on Car Park 1, and Cars £5.00 on Car Parks 3 & 4).

You can purchase a Season Car Park pass for £40 HERE. Please note that car park passes are not valid for non-Betfred Super League games.
