One Warrior was in action on dual registration over the weekend, as Umyla Hanley made a scoring appearance for Newcastle Thunder away at Batley.

Thunder were on the road against Batley Bulldogs on Sunday, as Wigan’s Umyla Hanley started at full back. Hanley got Newcastle’s final try of the game with a fantastic solo effort.

Taking in a high ball close to his own line, he added the dancing feet to find a gap on the left wing, he got a step on the last defender to accelerate away and get the ball down, though it was Newcastle’s final action of the game as they fell to a 58-18 defeat.

Plenty of other young Warriors were in action for the Club as our reserves side ran out 40-6 winners over Warrington Wolves at Robin Park Arena on Saturday afternoon. Read the match report HERE.
