Wigan to face Hull in Semi Final

  • Wigan to play Hull FC in Betfred Super League Play-Off Semi Finals.
  • Warriors to return home to the DW Stadium for the first time in eight months.
  • Winner will progress to the 2020 Betfred Super League Grand Final.

Wigan Warriors will play Hull FC in the Semi Finals of the Betfred Super League Play-Offs at the DW Stadium on Thursday 19th November (7:45pm kick off).

Following Hull’s win over Warrington Wolves in the Elimination Play-Off on Thursday night, the Black and Whites will travel to Wigan next Thursday, with the winner progressing to the 2020 Grand Final.

Due to Covid-19-related reasons, the regular Super League season was cut short last week and the competition’s Play-Off format was revised, with six teams contesting instead of four.

After finishing the regular campaign in top spot, League Leaders’ Shield winners Wigan will play at home for the first time since 8th March.

As it was scheduled for the Warriors to face the lowest rank winners from Round 1 in the Play-Offs, it is now confirmed that they will face Hull, who finished sixth in the final league standings.

Second place St Helens will face either Catalans Dragons or Leeds Rhinos in the second Semi Final Play-Off.

All matches are live on Sky Sports and available via Now TV – more details here.
