Jeffery eventually began his rugby league career at Featherstone Lions ARLFC aged eight after convincing his parents the sport was not too rough.
The outside back, who was born in Wakefield, played for Heworth before making his way through the Club’s Scholarship programme after signing his first contract for the 2020 season.
Jeffery scored 12 tries in 13 starts for the Academy in 2023, as well as a brace for the Reserves in the Grand Final victory over St Helens.
He represented Yorkshire and scored a try against Lancashire in the 2023 Academy Origin Series.
