MATT PEET HAS PROVIDED A SHOCK DOCTOR INJURY UPDATE ahead of their R16 Betfred Super League game against Leigh Leopards at The Brick Community Stadium.

Tyler Dupree and Adam Keighran return to Matt Peet’s 21-player squad this week following suspensions, in place of Jacob Douglas and Kruise Leeming who picked up an injury in the game against London Broncos last time out.

On Kruise Leeming, Peet said: “Kruise has got a syndesmosis, so he’s going to be out for around the six-week mark.”

Updating on Jai Field, who picked up a hamstring injury in the Betfred Challenge Cup Final, he added: “He’s doing well, he’s got power in his hamstring but the scan presented a tear so we have to treat it accordingly.

“We’ll err on the side of caution and make sure until he’s had further scans and that tear is fully healed, we won’t be taking any risks.”
