HERE’S EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW AHEAD OF Friday night’s betfred super league double-header at the dw stadium.

History will be made on Friday night when our Women’s team take to the DW Stadium field for the first time as they open their Super League account for the season against Barrow Raiders.

Following our Women’s history-making clash, our Men’s side face Castleford Tigers in Betfred Super League Round 8 action.

Ticketing

Join us on Friday night for a DW Stadium double-header as our Men’s and Women’s First Teams compete in Betfred Super League action.

Tickets, which include entry to both matches, remain available to purchase online HERE, over the phone on 01942 311111, or in person from the DW Stadium Ticket Office (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm).

Fan Village

Our Fan Village will be open from 6pm on Friday evening to soak up all the pre-match atmosphere inside Robin Park Arena!

Our exclusive Wigan Warriors player cards make a return for the first time this season, with supporters able to collect the first three players. Please note that a maximum of one player card will be distributed per person, and cards will be located in the Fan Village, our Robin Park Arena Club Store, as well as all bars pre and post-match.

Supporters can listen to live music inside the Fan Village from Cool Cats Covers Band, and our two on-site bars will be in operation from when doors open. Food will also be available out on the running track. Please note that our Fan Village bars only accept card payments.

Between 6-7pm, all children are invited to take part in our Community Foundation led activities, which includes our try scoring inflatable, wheelchair rugby, and our Davanti Tyres passing challenge. Places are limited, and we ask that interested participants meet at the red Community Foundation gazebo on the running track.

There are plenty of ways to shop on Friday evening ahead of kick off! Our Robin Park Arena Club Store will be open from 10am right up until kick off, before reopening post-match. In addition, our East Stand Express Store – open 6:30pm – is the perfect place to pick-up any merchandise ahead of kick off!

DW Stadium

Turnstiles will be open from 5pm as BBC Radio Manchester’s Anna Jameson builds up the Women’s history-making clash against Barrow Raiders (5:30pm K.O.).

Please note that prior to kick off in the Men’s clash against Castleford Tigers, a minute silence will be observed as the Club pays tribute to loved ones lost since the start of the 2023 season.

Whelan’s Sports Bar

Supporters can once again take advantage of some great offers over at Whelan’s Sports Bar at the DW Stadium, which is situated underneath the West Stand, close to the main reception.

Whelan’s Sports Bar will be open from 12pm on Friday with a pre-match deal offering a pitcher and pizza or sharing box for £20. Following the match, supporters can take advantage of 3 for 2 offer on a selection of draught drinks.

Car Parking

Seasonal car park passes are available to use for this fixture. Car parking passes can be purchased upon arrival, however, only card payments will be accepted on all of our car parks (£5.00 per car/£10 per minibus/£20 per coach on Car Park 1, and Cars £5.00 on Car Parks 3 & 4).

Please note that stadium car parks will close at midnight.

Our Men’s and Women’s teams will wear their traditional Cherry & White home kits for Friday’s double-header.
