Almost 2000 Wigan fans will attend Robin Park Arena on Tuesday night for the now annual ‘Night Under the Lights’ to watch an open training session.
The doors will open at 5.30pm with training starting at 6.30pm and expected to last around 35-40 minutes, during which time there’ll be some live commentary from the Coaching staff to give fans insight during the session.
After the session, all of the available players will move indoors for the meet and greet, which is expected to last until approximately 8:30pm.
There will also be food stalls, the bar will be open for hot and cold drinks, and the Club shop will be open until the event closes.
The event has quickly become one of the highlights of the pre-season calendar for both the players and supporters with head coach Matt Peet saying, “I can’t wait!”
“I know the players are looking forward to it as well. It will be an incredible night for the Club and the players will love training in front of so many fans.
“It has become an exciting part of our programme that we all look forward to and strengthens the connection between the club and our supporters.”
