Rugby League Awards night 2023

Rugby League will stage its biggest, best and most inclusive end of season Awards Night this autumn, in the unique and spectacular surroundings of The Point at Emirates Old Trafford.

The annual coronation of the winner of the Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel Award – the outstanding player in the Betfred Super League – will be reunited with the announcement of the Woman of Steel, as had previously happened in 2019 and 2021.

And for the first time, the Men’s and Women’s Super League Awards will be joined by recognition for the outstanding performers in the Betfred Wheelchair Super League, and from the Championship and League One competitions.

Hosted by Brian Carney, the event will bring together the outstanding performers from the 2023 domestic season, as well as live music throughout the night from The Graduates.

The Rugby League Awards Night 2023 will be held on Tuesday October 10, ensuring a high-profile start to a week which ends with three Grand Finals including the Betfred Super League title decider at Old Trafford on Saturday October 14.

That will be followed by a double header on Sunday October 15: the Betfred Championship Grand Final (kick off 2.30pm, live on ViaPlay) and the Betfred Wheelchair Super League Grand Final, which will kick off at 5.30pm at the Manchester Basketball Centre, and will again be shown live on Sky Sports.
