Wigan Warriors Academy ran in 10 tries to beat London Broncos on Sunday afternoon to keep them within two-points of the top spot in the league.

Wigan got off to a fast start as Charlie Yeomans got over for the opening score on four minutes, which was converted by Jack Farrimond for 6-0.

Despite the Broncos reducing the points difference with a penalty after eight minutes, the Warriors scored their second try of the game through Taylor Kerr shortly after which Farrimond successfully converted.

Two tries in two minutes saw the Warriors increase their advantage to 22-2 after 27 minutes. Nathan Lowe went over for his first try of the half, before Harry Higham crossed for a try which was unable to be converted.

Lowe scored his second of the match on the half hour, before Farrimond went over himself for a try which he successfully converted to give the Warriors a 34-2 lead at the interval.

The Broncos crossed for an unconverted try at the start of the second half, however, the Warriors hit back on 54 minutes when Farrimond scored his second which Lowe converted.

Wigan extended their lead to 46-6 on the hour when Finlay Irwin scored a try which Farrimond successfully converted.

Two tries in the final six minutes saw the Warriors surpass 50 points in the capital. First Tom Ratchford went over, before Yeomans scored his second of the match in the closing stages. Farrimond added the extras on each occasion, as Wigan extended their winning run to seven matches.
