Five Warriors were in loan and dual registration action over the weekend for Widnes Vikings, London Broncos and Oldham Roughyeds.

Batley Bulldogs 11-4 Widnes Vikings

Zach Eckersley continued his impressive scoring streak in Widnes’ defeat at Batley last night, as the centre scored his fifth Vikings try in three matches.

Adding to his debut hat-trick against Swinton Lions, and a try last time out at home to Barrow Raiders, Eckersley crossed for what proved to be a consolation score as Widnes’ three match league winning run came to an end.

Finally, Kieran Tyrer, Harvey Makin and Harvey Wilson featured in Oldham’s comfortable victory over Cornwall in League One.

Tyrer, who started the match at stand-off, kicked one goal before he was forced to leave the field due to a head knock after 20 minutes.

Wilson, who was named amongst the interchanges with Makin, dived over beneath the sticks to score Oldham’s third in a seven try victory.
