U12s Futures programme

Wigan Warriors Youth Performance are pleased to announce our Year 8 (U12s) Boys Futures programme, following the success of the recent Year 9 Futures programme.

The sessions which will run in November, offers four weeks of Rugby League coaching by Wigan Warriors Youth Performance coaches.

The aim of the Programme is to provide an opportunity to young players to access additional coaching and skills development whilst in a different environment working with our Youth Performance Coaches. 

Robin Park Arena dates:

• Wednesday 9^th November, 6pm-7:30pm 
• Wednesday 16^th November, 6pm-7:30pm 
• Wednesday 23^rd November, 6pm-7:30pm 
• Wednesday 30^th November, 6pm-7:30pm

Head of Youth Performance Shane Eccles, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for boys in Year 8 to take part in a series of coaching sessions with our Youth Performance Coaches.

“We are aiming to build on the Year 9 Programme which was delivered in October and provide boys in year 8 an opportunity to develop their skills ready for the 2023 community season.”

He added: “This programme will create a learning environment for players to develop new skills and enhance their current skills alongside being challenged in competitive situations.”
