Loan & dual reg report

  • Six Warriors were in action for their loan and dual reg Clubs.
  • Ben O’Keefe scored a hat-trick to help Rochdale Hornets to victory.
  • Sutton, Brannan, Halsall, Forber and Jack Bibby were also in action.

Ben O’Keefe made a flying start to a two week loan at Rochdale Hornets as he scored a hat-trick to help them to victory over Midlands Hurricanes.

Alex Sutton started for Swinton Lions at right centre as they fell to a 26-12 defeat against Doncaster. Whilst Jack Bibby started at prop with Toby Brannan at Interchange for Workington Town who lost 38-0 to Widnes.

Sam Halsall once again started at left centre for Newcastle Thunder, whilst Tom Forber also appeared off the interchange bench on dual registration, though Newcastle fell to a 58-22 defeat.

Ben O’Keefe stole the show on loan this weekend, starting his initial 2-week time with Rochdale Hornets in a hat-trick scoring appearance at left centre. O’Keefe went over in the first half to help Rochdale into a 28-10 lead at the interval, with Hurricanes threatening the comeback he added a further two efforts in the final ten minutes to confirm his hat-trick and help the Hornets to the 42-34 win.
