Two Warriors featured for their Loan and Dual Reg Clubs over the weekend.

James McDonnell was on the interchange bench for Leigh Centurions as they eased to a 36-0 win to keep them top of the pile in the Championship. A quiet start to the game saw the scores held at nil, before Leigh ran in three tries. McDonnell thought he’d got in on the act with a try of his own, but was adjudged to have been held up in the 36-0 victory for Centurions.

Sam Halsall also featured for Newcastle Thunder, and in typical fashion the youngster registered a try, though Newcastle fell to defeat to Sheffield Eagles. The Eagles were the better of the two sides for the majority of the game, but Halsall did make in impact in the second half as he crashed over for a try on the hour mark, his sixth for Newcastle Thunder this season. It ended 31-18 in favour of the Eagles on the afternoon.
