Matt Peet has provided an update on Cade Cust who suffered a dislocated elbow in last weekend’s Betfred Challenge Cup Final.

Cust left the field late on at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Saturday.

Speaking on Cust to Wigan TV, Peet said: “He’s dislocated his elbow. He had x-rays and scans on Tuesday so we just need to speak to the specialist around return to train, return to play and any other added complications we are not aware of. We’re definitely looking at him missing a few weeks.”

Forward Kai Pearce-Paul continues his rehabilitation after suffering torn ligaments in the Challenge Cup Sixth Round win over Salford in March.

Head Coach Peet also confirmed Tommy Leuluai is being rested this weekend.
