Vacancy – Receptionist (Part Time)

To act as the first point of contact for all customers and visitors at Robin Park Arena.
Ensure customers are welcomed to the arena in a friendly, helpful and efficient manner.
To be aware of and comply to all policies and procedures in relation to customer service.
Responsibility for the administration of over the counter / phone bookings and financial transactions.
Responsibility for the accurate administration of Wigan Warriors memberships scheme.
To account for all small stock items for sale and/or hire, including stock checks.
To assist the head receptionist in contacting customers or potential customers to confirm bookings or courses.
To keep up to date records and undertake extra administrative duties as determined by any of the management team.
To attend any training and courses deemed necessary.
To report operational problems and/or difficulties to the head receptionist or duty manager.
To deal with customer complaints and feedback and refer matters to the facility manager or duty manager as appropriate.

Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field desirable
Consistent, professional dress code and manner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good time management skills.
Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
