  • Catalans Dragons v Wigan Warriors, Saturday 12th March (5:30pm GMT K.O.)

In partnership with Blindspot Global, we have the latest from Iain Thornley as he updates on his recovery ahead of the Warriors round 5 fixture.

Speaking on his recovery at Robin Park Arena, Iain Thornley said: “It’s going well. I was in a medical boot for two or three weeks but I’m out of that and at the halfway point now.

“The lads keep winning every week which is great but I’m gutted not to be out there with them. I’m ticking boxes each week and so far so good. Hopefully I can get back soon, put the injury behind me and get on with the season with the lads.”

Ethan Havard and Bevan French travelled to France to continue their training with the rest of the squad. In his weekly press conference, updating on their training, Peet said: “He’s (Ethan) exceptional, very professional for a young player, he’s committed and has a toughness about him. It’s been great for me, I’ve been able to have some small conversations with them, spent the odd minutes with players and spend time with Ethan and Bevan.

He added: “I think this week has been really important for their progression and getting them back amongst the players, spending some time with the group, particularly Bevan who has had a long time away. It’s brilliant to see them both amongst the group.”

Matt Peet named his 21-player squad for Saturday’s fixture against Catalans Dragons.
