Wigan Warriors Embed the pathway futures sessions return to Robin Park Arena throughout March.
The sessions consist of working on attacking and defensive skills as well as skill games that will compliment the skills that the players will work on in the sessions. We also have an opportunity to offer players some Strength and Conditioning and Speed Work throughout the sessions.
The sessions are open to boys U13s age, with sessions held at Robin Park Arena on the below dates:
- Monday 7th March (6-7pm & 7-8pm)
- Monday 14th March (6-7pm & 7-8pm)
- Monday 21st March (6-7pm & 7-8pm)
- Monday 28th March (6-7pm & 7-8pm)
Speaking on the sessions, Community development officer Tom Marsh said: “The ETP Futures sessions that we ran throughout 2021 and 2022 have been a success so far, working with the U15’s and U16s back in November and U14s throughout January and February.
“We hope to keep these kinds of sessions running in the future as it helps us identify future first team players, just like Ethan Havard and Sam Halsall who progressed through our futures programme. All the skills players learn in the sessions should be able to benefit them when they go back into their Community Clubs and Schools.”
