Earlier this week Wigan Head Coach Adrian Lam held a press conference via Zoom link from the Club’s Robin Park Arena training base ahead of this weekend’s Betfred Super League clash with Castleford Tigers.

Leuluai has made eight appearances so far this season.

During the conference, the Head Coach provided a number of updates on players who have been sidelined in recent weeks.

It was positive news for Tommy Leuluai who looks set to return from an ankle injury picked up vs Wakefield in Wigan’s return to action post-lockdown on 9th August.

There was also good news for Ben Flower, who has been sidelined due to injury or suspension for the majority of the 2020 season so far. He returns to the 21-man squad after recovering from a back injury.

He also provided an update on those players who are set to miss out.

“Sean O’Loughlin (hamstring) is probably two weeks away. Oliver Gildart (shoulder) is potentially one more week away.

“Tony Clubb (neck), that looks like it may not be good news and could be more long term, just getting clarification on that.”
