Nominate your lockdown hero

Wigan Warriors have teamed up with Kingfisher Beer to recognise the efforts of Wigan fans who have gone above and beyond within the community during the past few months.

As part of the #WarriorsAtHome campaign across the Club’s social media, we have been inundated with examples of fans who have shown unrelenting commitment to their community, including key workers and community volunteers. 

We’re asking fans to nominate their “lockdown heroes”, with two winners to be chosen and presented with a special prize courtesy of Kingfisher Beer. Each winner will receive a signed shirt with a personalised message from a first team player of their choice, plus a crate of Kingfisher beer and a £40 voucher to spend at popular local restaurant, The Raj Wigan, on a date of their choice.

To nominate an individual, simply tag them into the post below on Wigan Warriors’ Official Twitter account and include a brief description of how that special someone has played their part as a community hero.

Kingfisher Beer, Official Partners of Wigan Warriors, are supporting local curry houses by offering weekly “money-can’t-buy prizes”. To be within the chance of winning one of these amazing prizes, simply visit your local curry house, take a photo of your meal and upload it to Instagram using the hashtag #KeepCalmAndCurryOn.
