Three Warriors to start for England Academy
Three Warriors will start for England Academy in tonight’s clash against France at Warrington’s halliwell jones stadium.
The RFL’s Head of England Pathways, Paul Anderson, has named the England Academy team to face France this evening which includes three Warriors in his starting line up.
Prop forward Kian McDermott will wear the number 10 shirt whilst second rower Lukas Mason and loose forward Taylor Kerr will wear number 12 and 13 respectively.
Speaking on his team selection, Paul Anderson said: “In the last few days we have exposed the players to what an England environment looks and feels like, with the challenge and intensity of short-term representative preparation they might one day experience at senior international level.
“Now it’s almost time for us to take high quality practice out onto the field and I’m really excited about what this group can achieve.”
Supporters can attend the clash at the Halliwell Jones Stadium this evening with tickets priced at £5 adults and £2 concessions. The match will also be streamed live on the RFL’s YouTube channel HERE from 7:15pm.
