Warriors at Women’s Nines

Wigan Warriors Women will compete in the group stages of the Women’s Nines festival this Sunday at Victoria Park, Warrington.

The Nines competition is a new concept for Women’s Rugby League in the UK and the ‘group stage’ format allows the next generation of Women’s talent to be inspired on and off the pitch this Sunday.

There will be five groups competing, with the top six sides set to face each other at Salford’s AJ Bell Stadium on Sunday 24 July for the right to be crowned Women’s Nines champions. Off the pitch, a number of ‘inspirational sessions’ will also take place.
