A skilful prop forward, Harvey Makin adds depth in the forward pack for Matt Peet’s side in 2024.
Born in Wigan, Makin started playing Rugby League at the age of 6 and grew up as a Wigan Warriors season ticket holder, he previously played for Wigan St Jude’s.
The Prop Forward, who signed his first Wigan contract in 2020, was one of six Warriors to represent Lancashire in the 2021 Origin Academy clash with Yorkshire.
Makin played five games for Barrow in 2023, as well as an appearance for London Broncos. He also featured twice on dual registration for League One side Oldham, in which he scored a debut try in the Challenge Cup.
The 20-year-old was named in the 21-man for Wigan’s Super League Round 13 trip to Hull KR, but is yet to make his first team debut for the Club. In January 2024, it was announced that Makin will head out on a season-long loan to Barrow Raiders following pre-season with Wigan.
