Danny Fullerton has been working within the Wigan Warriors youth system since joining the Club in 2018.
Since 2007, Fullerton has been involved with youth development, where he started his career with Warrington Wolves in a community and performance role – progressing his way up to the Academy as Head Coach.
He enhanced his learning by challenging himself coaching in Mackay, Australia where he spent two and a half years, before returning to the UK to take up his dream job with his hometown club – developing local talent.
Fullerton’s roles at Wigan span across three different departments. He is the Rugby Development Manager within the Community Foundation, Head Coach of the Warriors Education Academy and an Assistant for the Academy. He was part of the Under-19s coaching staff in 2019 as the team won the Grand Final.
His role within the Academy is to assist Head Coach John Duffy in developing players and nurturing home grown talent in preparation for the first team, as well as sharing his knowledge and experiences to the next generation of local talent.
