Player Bio
Molyneux is the daughter of James (Jim) Molyneux, Wigan heritage number 667. Her Rugby League career stems back to aged ten where she represented a boys team from Rochdale before joining Hillside Hawks girls.
She was part of the first ever England team that faced France, and holds England heritage number three.
Molyneux was captain of the Team GB Teachers squad in 2019, seeing the side to victory in their two games that year.
She was also named vice-Captain for the Warriors ahead of the 2021 season.
Victoria became the first female player to be inducted in the Wigan Warriors Hall of Fame. She also received the RFL President’s Award in January of 2024.
Internationally, she was the most capped player in the World Cup 2021 for England and retired from the International stage at the end of 2023.
In 2024, she was named Club Captain and Captained the side to their first trophy since 2018 as Wigan were crowned Women’s Nines winners.
