Shaniah Power

27-year-old Shaniah Power comes to Wigan with a wealth of experience in her native Australia. Since 2020 she has featured for New Zealand Warriors, Gold Coast Titans, Sydney Roosters and joins Wigan from her hometown side North Queensland Cowboys.

The 2023 BMD Premiership Player of the Year, Power has represented the Maroons (Queensland) on four occasions and the Indigenous All Stars four times.

Power made her debut for the Warriors in an 84-0 win against Barrow Raiders Ladies in the Challenge Cup and was part of the 2025 Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup winning team at Wembley Stadium.

Power was part of the 2025 Nines Team that lifted the trophy before lifting the League Leaders’ Shield with Wigan for the first time later that year.

The prop forward is also a Grand Final winner with Wigan after beating rivals St.Helens 16-12 in October 2025.
