Player Bio
Lucie Sams was part of the Wigan Warriors Women’s Academy in 2022 before joining St.Helens for the 2023 season where she went on to play at Wembley in St.Helens’ 2023 Betfred Challenge Cup victory over Leeds Rhinos.
Sams has also played Rugby Union where she represented Sale Sharks at Club level whilst also representing England at both U18s and U20s level.
Sams returned to the Warriors for the latter stages of the 2025 Betfred Women’s Super League season where she made a try-scoring debut against Barrow Raiders to help Wigan towards their first League Leaders’ Shield.
