A proven try scorer and versatile outside back, Wardle joined the Warriors in 2023 on a three-year deal.
Wardle came through Huddersfield’s Academy and made his debut for the Club in 2016. Wardle has played for both Huddersfield Giants and Warrington Wolves (loan) in Betfred Super League.
Halifax-born Wardle is an England international having made his try-scoring debut in a win over the Combined Nations All Stars in 2022. He has also represented England Knights’ on one occasion in a win over France in 2022.
Wardle made his Warriors debut in an Away loss to Hull KR on the opening day of the 2023 Super League. In his debut season with the Club, he went on to make 31 appearances in all competitions, scoring 16 tries.
The Centre was named in the Super League Dream Team for the first time in 2023.
Wardle lifted both the League Leaders’ Shield and Super League Trophy in 2023, as well as winning the Harry Sunderland trophy for Man of the Match in the 2023 Super League Grand Final.
Jake Wardle was part of the Warriors team who completed the Grand Slam in 2024, winning the World Club Challenge, Challenge Cup, League Leaders’ Shield and Super League all in the same season.
