Ellise Derbyshire

Derbyshire has represented local Community Clubs Ince Rose Bridge and Leigh Miners at junior level.

She won the Woman of Steel award during her time at Leigh Miners and was named Young Player of the Year at the Leopards in her first Super League Season.

Derbyshire prides herself on being a versatile player, able to play in the outside backs but also at loose forward.

Most recently, Ellise was part of the England DiSE team who faced Catalan u19s in September 2023.

In 2024, she was part of the team that won the Women’s Nines at Sewell Group Craven Park before lifting it for a second consecutive season in 2025.

Derbyshire was part of the 2025 Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup winning team at Wembley Stadium before lifting the League Leaders’ Shield with Wigan for the first time later that year.
