Player Bio
Bolton-born Chris Greenhalgh is Head Coach of the Warriors Wheelchair First Team and also plays for the Reserves side.
After taking up the sport in 2012, Greenhalgh went on to represent England from 2012-2014, including scoring 2 tries in the 2013 World Cup Final.
Outside the sport, Greenhalgh is a Season Ticket Holder of over 30-years with Bolton Wanderers and he has also competed in 3 World Cups in 3 different sports.
Greenhalgh was part of the Reserves side who finished runners-up in the 2023 Championship Grand Final, scoring a try and converting two goals in the narrow defeat to North Wales Crusaders.
After taking over as Head Coach of the First Team in 2023, Greenhalgh led Wigan to a 2023 Wheelchair Super League Grand Final win, and was an unused sub in the game – claiming Wigan’s first Wheelchair Super League trophy since forming.
