Border Divide

Wigan in New South Wales – More than a Game!

Whilst creating history for our game is a significant component on this initiative, the Club’s approach throughout this process has always been to ensure we deliver a wider purpose in the region.

With the event expecting to attract approximately 5,000 international and interstate visitors to the region, there will be plenty on offer for fans in Wollongong, Sydney and the New South Wales region. Both Wigan and Hull players themselves will be enjoying what the region has to offer participating in a number of local activities as well as a range of community engagement events:

  • Destination profiling and regional tourism events with the team

  • Community BBQ event with the Team at North Beach, Wollongong

  • Open Team Training Sessions in Wollongong and Coogee Beach, Eastern Suburbs

  • Coaching development sessions with local Rugby League Clubs

  • Junior Coaching Clinic programmes engaging regional schools and junior Rugby League Clubs

  • Public signing sessions, meet the team events and much more!

A full list of events will be communicated with fans so you can follow the tour and support the boys!
