Welcome to Wigan Warriors Rugby League Club.

Wigan Warriors take on Toronto Wolfpack for the first time as Round 3 of the new Betfred Super League season gets underway.

For any new visitors to the the DW Stadium, this guide is designed to help you enjoy the best possible trip.

About the DW Stadium

The DW Stadium has been the home of Wigan Warriors since the start of the century after opening in 1999.

The 25,133-seater stadium is shared with Wigan Athletic Football Club and both clubs celebrated 20 years at the ground in 2019.

Travelling fans are usually situated in the North Stand. Please note that the North Stand for this game will not be open.

Signs around the stadium will help visitors find their seat in the correct stand.

Finding the ground

Wigan is located in the North West of England, half-way between the cities of Manchester and Liverpool, and sandwiched between the M6, M61 and M62 motorways. It is also ideally positioned on the crossroads of the main West Coast and cross country railway lines, whilst Manchester and Liverpool airports are only a short car ride away.

The DW Stadium is a simple 20 minute walk from Wigan town centre and the two main train stations.

Food and drink

Located next door to Robin Park retail park, there are plenty of nearby eateries, including Burger King, Subway and Pizza Hut.

The Club also have a matchday Fan Zone located next door to the stadium at Robin Park Arena in the indoor running track. Both home and away fans will be able to buy a pre-match and post-match pint at the Club’s matchday bar, which is open from 5.30-10.45pm.

Robin Park Arena is adjacent to the DW Stadium.

To gain entrance to the Fan Zone you need only to show your match day or season ticket.

Once fans have made it into the stadium, there are facilities for fans to get something to eat or drink during the game.

Our matchday store is stocked with a wide range of merchandise for those of you who are interested in collecting memorabilia items as you visit different away grounds throughout the season.

Golden Gamble

The Golden Gamble is our half time draw and tickets can be bought for just £1 before the game from sellers around the ground. Each and every ticket is entered into the draw, with six prizes, including money, up for grabs! (Please gamble responsibly)

Matchday Programme

The Warriors’ matchday programme is available for £3.50 around the ground on game day.

Inside you can find a whole host of content previewing the game, as well as pages focusing on the opposition.

Staying over?

The Warriors have an Official Local Hotel partnership with Holiday Inn Express Wigan. Located just a 10-minute walk from the DW Stadium, the hotel opened in January 2018 at Martland Mill, former headquarters of Wigan Post and Wigan Observer.

The Holiday Inn Express Wigan offers 86 bedrooms, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, free car parking and inclusive breakfast for every guest. Martland Mill Brasserie is fully licensed and offers all day dining, making the Holiday Inn Express Wigan an ideal place to stay for business and leisure.
