Community Innovation Manager, Anthony Atherton commented, “The idea is for all players and coaches within our community to have access to the silverware that was won in 2018. The work we do here at Wigan Warriors and the Community Foundation is built upon the tremendous work that goes on day in day out, week in week out by an army of fantastic volunteers. The more work we can do in partnership with our clubs the better and healthier the game is. With us having such a strong an vibrant community game in Wigan we are looking to push relationships to the next level and felt this was unique way to celebrate it. Throughout all of our senior and youth squads are players that got their love from the game in the local community clubs. We want to play our part in keeping that true for the future generations of player, coach, volunteer and fan.”
