Helping every athlete reach their full athletic potential, regardless of age, limitation, sport or natural ability.
The Wigan Warriors XPLODE Speed Camp will begin this Friday. Last year’s speed camps proved to be an outstanding success with over 150 young players taking part in the weekly sessions.
Tom Fitzpatrick, Warriors Strength and Conditioning coach, is excited about running the course again this year:
“The speed camps are a great opportunity to work on an important element of being a Rugby League player. Every player has the potential to get quicker and the skills and techniques shown over the six weeks will enable the players to improve their performance. Last year’s camps were fantastic and we’re looking forward to seeing how the players improve and enjoy this year’s programme.”
The sessions will start on Friday 27th July, include a 2019 Wigan Warriors junior season ticket and will run every Friday for six weeks. The Wigan Warriors strength and conditioning coaches will provide expert tuition for participants with regards to improving all aspects of speed training.
