Wigan Warriors have unveiled a huge night of entertainment for Friday’s Battle of the Borough at the DW Stadium.

The Warriors will face local rivals Leigh Centurions for the first time in the league since 2005 with the action set to get underway at 8pm.

Indie rock band Stillia will headline the pre-game entertainment with a special performance before the teams enter the field. The North West four piece are return to the DW Stadium having performed ahead of last season’s Super 8s win over and have since launched their new single ‘Let Me In’ along with a video which has been directed by Johnny Vegas and premiered on Channel 4 last weekend.

Bassist and Wigan fan, Johnny Waring, told us,

“We’re delighted to be coming back to the DW Stadium. A few of the lads in the band are Saints fans but they really enjoyed playing in front of the Wigan crowd last time round. I know fans from both sides and Wigan against Leigh is going to be a huge game…we can’t wait for it”
