Everyone’s favourite number nine celebrates his tenth year with the Wigan Club in 2017.
Having debuted for the Warriors against Harlequins back in June 2007, Micky McIlorum has gone on to play 218 times for the Cherry and Whites crossing for 22 tries.
Injury plagued much of his 2016 campaign but he will be back with a bang in the New Year with a host of testimonial activities planned. First up, the small matter of his testimonial game against Leigh Centurions on Sunday 22nd January.
Always a highlight for any junior Wigan fan, the Warriors Rugby Camps return in 2017 with a fresh new look.
Hundreds of Junior Warriors attended camps in 2016 and with even greater camps planned for the year ahead there’s never been a better time to get involved.

World Club Challenge
The DW Stadium will host it’s first World Club Challenge match in six years as Wigan face Cronulla Sharks to decide who is the best club side in the world.
The Cherry and Whites have won the title on three occasions, level with Leeds Rhinos, Bradford Bulls and Sydney Roosters with Cronulla set to make their debut in the showpiece event.
The game takes place at the DW Stadium on Sunday 19th February, 3pm and will be Wigan’s first home game of the season. What a way to start! You don’t want to miss this one.
