- Wigan Warriors Season Tickets on sale now
New for this year, Wigan Warriors fans have the option to donate to charity when purchasing their Season Ticket.
Whether purchasing online, over the phone or at the DW Stadium Ticket Office, fans can now opt to give a small donation to the Wigan Warriors Community Foundation, the Club’s charitable arm.
The Wigan Warriors Community Foundation is Wigan Warriors’ official charity and uses the power of Sport and Rugby League to make a difference to people’s lives. The Foundation work across many areas in Wigan, Cumbria, the Midlands and London.
The Foundation works on a number of projects, primarily coaching, and improving health, wellbeing and career prospects of both children and young adults.
Community Development Project Manager, Mike Wearden, said: “Fans of the Club are always very generous when it comes to donating to the Foundation and we are so grateful for that.”
“Without the help and support of the fans we really wouldn’t be able to do what we do. We’ve delivered a vast assortment of projects, both rugby and non-rugby based, across Wigan and the wider region this year including projects that address food poverty through our Fuel for School campaign, heart health through our Drop the Beat school programme, renewable energy and recycling through our Learning Curve programme and Tackle your memory dementia awareness and support project, to name but a few.
“The Foundation continues to go from strength to strength and relies on charitable donations from fans, sponsors and fund-raisers to help cover the cost of the projects we deliver. Any support, however small, makes a huge difference to the Foundation and is greatly appreciated.”
