Wigan Warriors players helped bring some Christmas cheer to the children and staff of Rainbow Ward at Wigan Infirmary yesterday.

The players presented the children on the ward with presents including selection boxes kindly donated by the Co-operative, Winstanley.

Dom Crosby attended and said:

“We enjoy heading up to the hospital to see the Children there, it was great to see them all smiling as we took them some gifts, spent time with them and signed a few autographs. The kids were great as were the staff who all do a fantastic job down there, we hope they all have a good Christmas.”

Michael McIlorum added:

“We had a great time yesterday afternoon with everyone at Wigan Infirmary, I’d just like to thank everyone who made us feel so welcome. Also a big thank you to Dan Lee and the staff at the Co-Operative, Winstanley who helped us out with some gifts.”
