Wane on Clubcall Decision

Wigan Warriors chose Leeds Rhinos to play in the last four of the Stobart Super League Play-Offs in the Clubcall on Sunday lunchtime, the game will take place at the DW Stadium next Friday with an 8pm kick off.

Speaking about the decision, Head Coach Shaun Wane told us,

"We decided a couple of weeks ago when we knew we would get this pick that we would choose the lowest placed team remaining in the competition so it was pretty straight forward. The results panned out the way we thought they would so we obviously went for Leeds.

"Leeds are a quality team and this stage of the competition there are no easy teams and no easy routes through. In any one game Leeds can turn it on as they showed in the Challenge Cup Semi-Final. We need to be 100% ready and our form last week against Catalan was impressive and if we go into this week with the same attitude we will give ourselves a real chance."
