Shaun On Open Training Session and Clubcall

Fans turned out in their numbers on Friday at the Club's Training Ground, the Co-operative Community Stadium to watch a First Team open training session.

The event was set up for supporters to see a session ahead of a very important Semi-Final Play-Off clash at the DW Stadium next Friday.

Head Coach Shaun Wane told us,

"It was just a thank you to the fans and appreciation for the support shown to us. The players really enjoyed it and we got some quality out of the session playing against our Under 18's"

On Sunday lunchtime,Wigan have the Clubcall decision to make, to pick their opponents for the Week 3 home Play-Off clash. The Clubcall is live on Sky Sports News around 12.30pm, Wigan will select one of the two winners from this weekends matches, Wigan cannot pick St Helens as they were also winners in Week One, Shaun told us,.

"I am glad we are in this position, to finish top and to make that call. We have got the decision to make and I will be touching base with the players, with Ian and with my Assistant Coaches to see who we pick. Whoever we choose it will be a tough game. We are going to have to be at our best because there are four quality teams playing this weekend and we will pick the one we feel we can have the most success against."

"This is a really exciting time and we are looking to end this season on a high."
