Wigan opened their 2012 Nines campaign with three wins out of three at Aldershot on Tuesday night.
A young Warriors team included Ryan Hampshire & Lewis Tierney from the under 18's setup with Tierney joining Ryan King and Shae Lyon-Fraser in scoring 5 tries during the tournament. They were however outdone by England star George Williams who ran in 6 tries during the evening.
In the first game Wigan ran out comfortable 44-0 winners over Gloucesterbefore recovering from 8-0 down in their second game against London to record an 18-12 win. In the final game the Warriors ran out 58-4 victors over Widnes.

Elsewhere Leeds beat hosts Featherstone Rovers, Huddersfield Giants and Bradford Bulls in the opening festival in the East League to get off to a winning start whilst Warrington defeated Salford City Reds, Cumbria and St Helens on home soil at Wilderspool for a perfect start to the competition in the West.
The competition moves to Widnes next Tuesday.
