We continue our look back at 2011 with Part Three, June and July in Super League.
After the disappointment of the loss to the Catalans in Montpellier, the Warriors got back on track and went the rest of June and July unbeaten.
A draw at Castleford was followed by wins over Saints at Widnes to complete a Super League double as well as home success over Huddersfield, Leeds and Castleford again as Wigan faced three home games in less than two weeks. The Warriors also proved too strong for Wakefield with a Round 22 win at the DW.
The Cherry and whites also defeated Hull at the KC and Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop

A solitary second half score from the Dragons is enough to secure the win on the road in Montpellier as the Catalans complete a Super League double over the Warriors.

Wigan surrender a 22-4 half time lead as the Tigers produce a second half fight back to earn a share of the spoils.

Wigan complete a Super League over their arch rivals and wit the two points go to the top of the Super League table. Wigan race into a 20-0 lead before a mini Saints fight back.

A crowd of nearly 20,000 watch Wigan prove too strong for the Giants in the Big One 3 fixture; Sam Tomkins grabs a hat trick in an eight try display. The game sees the return of Gareth Hock to the Wigan side following his two year suspension from the game.

A second half Pat Richards penalty proves the difference in a see-saw battle which required the Warriors to be at their best, Leeds were denied a late winning try by the video referee.

A Josh Charnley double sees the Warriors overcome a tenacious Tigers side; the win takes the cherry and whites to the top of the Super League.

The Warriors produce a destructive second half display to come away from the Capital with the two points.
